Adepticon 2013

Wow!

I remember tickets selling this fast when I used to wait in line for concert tickets that went on sale at the local TicketMaster years ago.  I have never been to Adepticon before and finally got a few people together to make the trip.  I wanted to get my tickets before I forgot about it so I was waiting with my phone in hand to sign up while I was out to dinner.  7:00 and I log on and the server crashed.  I tried to gain access for a good 5 min before I started to panic a little.  I thought maybe my phone didn't have a good connection and other things went through my head.  I was the responsible one who said I would register our team for the team tournament.  Panic...I left dinner and headed home to try again.  I end up getting on and registering our team and myself for the 40k championship and the new X-Wing dogfight tournament.

52 minutes is all it took for the team tournament to sell out.  I think this whole Adepticon thing is pretty popular.  I am pumped for this event already.  Our team even had a meeting on Tuesday to play a 2v2 game and then discuss tactics and list building.  Our team name is Minnesota Dice which is a play on our Minnesota Nice campaign we are known for in this state.

So I am all signed up for Adepticon.  I am going to be posting stuff in the near future on 40K, Dust Warfare and X-Wing.
